Sebastian Moreno Coronel is a mexican artist living in Barcelona Spain, he creates very expressionistic Male Nudes in different settings.
Whether in nature or in urban cities his figures are full of virility and strength.
He is always exploring the masculine figure from different conceptual levels.
His art expresses the physical, sentimental and emotional male experiences that can go from the sensual to the erotic.
He is always striving to make his male nudes to be full of power, mystery or fantasy, and at the same ti
me he is also telling a story.
Sebastian is an artist that takes great importance in the details that lead to the imaginary and often reveals to you a surprisingly implosive and frank message. In them they reveal something far more intimate.
His paintings are frequently inspired by the unconventional and are highly narrative with fable storie
El cuerpo es un territorio vulnerado por fuerzas que le son ajenas.
Sus ansias de ser lo que otros le imponen se reflejan en su doliente divagar por las regiones de la duda, el desasociego, la debilidad y la culpa.
En mis series pictoricas que van de 1999 al presente, se expresan no solo mis experiencias vitales, sino tambien el dialogo que entablo con mi propio cuerpo: fisico, erotico y sensitivo;
asi como tambien con mi alma: rebelde, insegura, ardiente.
El arte no siempre se propone desvelar lo que somos y sin embargo
es continuamente un reflejo de lo que nos mueve:
de aquello que nos atrae o provoca, de lo que nos conquista o nos pierde.
Para pintar he tenido -necesariamente- que amar, odiar, aprender y errar.
He errardo muchas veces, he probado la hiel y la he escupido en colores.
He vivido y por eso pinto.
Estoy vivo y por ello creo que seguire hablando desde mi pintura.
